Power Solutions & Vestas Quality > Applications, Controls & Electrical > Release Management

Vestas Power Solutions (R&D) is the cornerstone of Vestas. We develop the wind power systems of the future.

The Release Management department integrates and tests software from over 250 developers. Our CI/CD pipeline constantly tests in both Windows-based simulated software-only environments and real-world condensed hardware and hardware simulation environments. We continuously regression-test our turbine software and always seek to improve and innovate our testing software and infrastructure.

The department consists of a growing number of employees (currently 30) located in Denmark and Porto. The tone is informal, and there's plenty of room for daily social interaction within the team.

Responsibilities

As Software Test Environment Coordinator,some of your responsibilities will include:
Participation in turbine project meetings to gain knowledge and influence the design of new hardware and software test requirements Keeping track of the needed components to complete the test suite for the coming turbine variants Implementing improvements and coordinating bug fixes to our Jenkins-based CI/CD test pipeline Monitoring the test suite and ensuring effective test results
Qualifications
Experience in technical project management Experience with complex software systems Experience with embedded digital electronics and IO control systems Ability to collect and structure information from multiple stakeholders Ability to communicate with many stakeholders in a large organization
