Building the foundation for future success

Our financial processes have been developed and maintained by our external accounting service providers and our internal data specialists, supported by a considerable amount of process automations. As our organization grows in Denmark and beyond, so does the complexity of our business. Therefore, we are seeking a Financial Controller that will take charge of our financial processes and controlling as we scale.

Partnering closely with our strategy and senior management team, this position will play a vital role driving high growth.

Primary responsibilities will include:

Ensuring the timely and effective execution of critical financial transactions and controlling Driving the optimization of our financial processes and systems to support high growth Overseeing auditing, budgeting, and forecasting exercises driving business planning and decision-making Preparing and presenting recurring financial reports to management and employees Orchestrating effective collaboration with external financial partners (accounting, auditors, legal) Preparing business plan financials, supporting the expansion into new services and markets Providing financial recommendations and sparring to Mover’s strategy office and senior management

What you need to make a difference

You should be able to work autonomously and become a trusted finance partner to our leadership, while also be willing to dive into everyday financial tasks in the short term.

Key to this role is your drive to challenge the status quo together with our management team, and your commitment to our shared ambitions.

To be considered a strong candidate for this role, you likely possess most of the following:

A master’s degree in finance, economics or similar (Cand. Merc. (Fir, Fsm, Aef, Asc), Cand. Polit., Cand. Oecon. At least 4 years of post-graduate professional experience with financial controlling in a medium-to-large international company Complete mastery of Excel and dominant financial/ERP-systems Alignment with our high ambitions and our Scandinavian values of equality, transparency, and work-life balance Ability to be a self-starter and hands-on, navigating ambiguous settings and the roller coaster ride that a scale-up can be Highly analytical and structured problem solver A strong desire to drive and deliver results, and the potential to evolve into a people leadership role A confident individual unafraid to question and improve current ways of working and thinking Strong communication skills in both Danish and English Positive energy and a pleasant demeanour.
