Senior Product Manager for Asset Management

Danske Bank Asset Management is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Product Management & Business Projects team. We are 12 diverse professionals from various backgrounds, nationalities, and ages, we foster an environment of growth and success through mutual support. Our work spans across the organisation, focusing on Asset Management products and projects. In April 2024, we'll be moving to our new headquarter in Copenhagen, conveniently located right next to the Central Station.

In this position, you'll take charge of our discretionary product offering, instigating changes that ensure top-notch, relevant products for our retail and private banking customers in the Nordics. We're seeking someone who has experience in asset management, operates with utmost integrity, and practices doing the right thing for the right reason.

We need a self-motivated individual who can work individually and maintain structure. Daily interactions with a variety of stakeholders within our value chain will be part of your role, making communication and stakeholder management skills crucial. Moreover, we value a proactive approach, an ability to drive results, and an unending eagerness to learn.

Team player with wide responsibility

The role offers you a large degree of responsibility and an opportunity to apply your product management and asset management experience. You will be empowered to perform your role with freedom, working closely with your colleagues and you get support when needed.

Your assorted responsibilities will encompass:

Product managing discretionary products Driving changes and launching new products in line with customer needs and strategy following our governance process  Cultivating a positive team environment Engaging and directing various stakeholders to guarantee steady progress and effective decision-making Pursuing constant personal and team development

Lastly, you will perform analysis of product portfolio, and make proposals based on the analysis plus ensure that our products meet client needs as well as regulatory requirements.

Asset Management business knowledge and experience

We are looking for a candidate who has motivation to deliver with great collaboration and have solid business knowledge. To succeed in the role, we see you as someone who has: 

Extensive experience in asset management or fund management Analytical skills A proactive, collaborative, and optimistic attitude An organised approach to tasks, with an emphasis on execution Great communication skills in English, both written and spoken
