Communications Student Assistant

Step into GN – we bring people closer. We are now looking for a new Communications Student Assistant within our Office of the CIO (OCIO). You will join a team focused on people, management, and strengthening the implementation of cultural and behavioral changes within GN IT. You will handle communication and administrative planning tasks, playing a crucial role in enhancing our internal culture and transparency.

The team you will be part of

You will become an integral part of the Office of the CIO, a small, agile team committed to executing swiftly and having a lot of fun together. We're dedicated to improving the GN IT organization through strategic cultural and behavioral changes, and your work will directly support these efforts by managing our internal communication and coordinating cross-functional events.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will: Manage internal communication channels and content, including our SharePoint page. Coordinate global internal IT communications. Support the CIO’s calendar and administrative schedule. Plan and prepare for management offsite events and internal IT gatherings. Assist with strategy execution activities and undertake ad-hoc administrative tasks.

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you: Possess strong communication skills, are structured, organized, and flexible. Have a proactive, self-driven, and curious approach, eager to develop your skills further. Are social, enjoy teamwork, and are not afraid to embrace new challenges. Have a significant understanding of the Office package, with SharePoint experience seen as a benefit (though not required).

Joining GN as a Student Assistant

In GN, our Student Assistants typically work 15-20 hours a week. We value flexibility and will collaborate with you to ensure your working hours complement your studies.

You also have the possibility to join the GN Students Network. This expansive network connects students from various departments and frequently hosts events like Friday bars, student lunches, and other engaging social activities.
