You will be joining our Danish Contract Sales team based out of our stunning HAY House in the heart of Copenhagen, and you will report directly to our Contract Sales Manager - Nordics.About the jobAs our new Account Manager, you will have an exciting opportunity to develop brand awareness, sales activities and strengthen our relationships with our contract dealers, Architects and Designers in the Zealand region and across Denmark.
This is a field sales role, and you will be expected to attend meetings daily, utilizing our beautiful HAY House as a base.In this exciting role, you will promote HAY and further establish the brand in the contract market.
Combining your specialist knowledge, experience and positive mindset, you will look after existing partnerships and expand the HAY network to promote sales.You will establish, maintain and enhance our customer relations with the ambition of growing our sales performance.
Your focus will be on customer-centric sales efforts, and you will be working closely together with five other dedicated colleagues in HAY House.
This role will also require regular travelling.More specifically, your tasks will include:Acquire knowledge of the professional market and build up the competencies to be able to handle business customers and projects independentlyStrengthen and expand the sales activities for HAY contract sales in Denmark including an extended focus on our use of HAY HouseDevelop the collaboration with both existing and new HAY contract dealers, end-consumers, as well as architectural and interior design studios, including sales efforts and relationship building.Developing and maintain an independent project pipeline, including coordinating and executing activities in connection with presentations, tendering and deliveriesTake part in business development activities primarily focusing on new business project opportunitiesAttend trade fairs and eventsActively contribute to a well-functioning collaboration across the Danish Contract Sales team.Any additional responsibilities based on the candidate’s profileAre you the Account Manager we are looking for?Role expectations / What we expectOn a personal level, you have a positive and self-driven personalityYou love working with design, as well as growing the sales and relationships with customersYou enjoy, and are motivated by, doing both canvas sales, and maintaining existing sales channelsYou are a strong service-minded team player with a positive outlook that motivates you to make your challenges a success focused on finding solutions and identifying possibilitiesExperience required / You’ll needYou have a strong sales background ideally with experience working with Contract dealers and A&DYou are a driven self-starter who thrives by working independently and is energised by working as a part of a strong teamYou have excellent presentation and communication skills, as well as an enthusiasm for and interest in interior design, products, materials and manufacturing processes.
You have an eye for detail, the ability to understand customers’ ideas and needs and convert them to competitive solutions in close collaboration with the customer.
