THE OPEN BANKING EXPERIENCE TEAM

This role is a part of our European Open Banking Experience Design team, highly focussed on delivering best-in-class and trusted user experiences for open banking end-users, developers, and customers across live and new markets, while remaining competitive, high performing and regulatory compliant. The Open Banking Experience Design team is focused on enabling the full product portfolio. to deliver best-in-class user experiences to millions of people across Europe.

In this role you will be playing a crucial part in both defining and designing for wide range of Open Banking user experiences, both with focus optimising conversion and onboarding funnels as well as bring new technologies and features to life, while building out and scaling our UX research capability.]

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive and lead complex multi-staged initiatives to ensure overall success, delivering timely insights that facilitate development of new or improved customer experiences

DESIGN AT MASTERCARD

• You are a naturally curious person

• Ability to navigate a complex requirements landscape and balance aspects regulatory compliance, data privacy and user needs when designing solutions

• Ability to dive deeper into problems to get to the root cause and suggest a range of solutions addressing the root cause.

• You are data-driven at the core, and continuously validate your assumptions

• Ability to partner with engineering counterparts to ensure the execution of the work aligns with the quality of the designs.

• Solid understanding of and experience with the nuances of B2B, B2C, B2B2B, B2B2C business models, and how to design products for a diverse set of segments and contexts is a huge plus

• Demonstrated ability to proactively engage, present to and influence both internal stakeholders and decision makers, as well as customers and external audiences

• Able to collaborate with cross-functional partners in a matrixed organization

• Experience partnering with business owners across disciplines

• Able to demonstrate designing experiences for scalable enterprise solutions and/or complex platforms.

• Experience with working on end-to-end experiences from early concepts through design, testing, iteration and delivery.
