The Market Entry Manager (m/w/d) will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating and executing strategic opportunities for expansion into new panel markets. Reporting to the VP Sales, the Market Entry Manager (m/w/d) will conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify potential new markets for panel expansion. Collaborating with the global management team as well as liaising with local Country Managers the Market Entry Manager (m/w/d) will assess market size, growth potential, competitive landscape and regulatory environment as well as identifying target client segments and assess their needs and preferences.
The Market Entry Manager (m/w/d) is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, category or market insight expertise and a proven track record of driving successful market entry initiatives within Market Research, Data Consulting or from FMCG Industry.
You Will: Head up the global panel expansion strategy Set the commercial compass for panel expansions, identify sales potential together with the countries Define the frame for market entries including minimum standards together with the global expert teams (Sales (CCO, AST), DA&I, OPS, Finance,..) Analyse the market landscape using internal/external sources, together with the country reps: Reveal market dynamics and segment the market and competitive environment Assess CP opportunities and identify the CPS competitive advantage in entering/expanding in a market, entry mode/route-to-market Develop the entry strategy and alignment with the overall CPS strategy, create a country specific strategic blueprint/value proposition that includes product, pricing, client access, admin basic Accompany countries/global team in the go-to-market implementation/execution and manage implementation roadmaps for sales (hirings, G&A investments, legal requirements, operations ramp up) together with PMO, execute on standards Define the guidelines for sales and product management (incl. PI needs) with the countries
You Have: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 7 years of experience in market entry, business development, or related roles, preferably in the research, data consulting or FMCG industry Proven track record of successfully launching new products or entering new markets Strong analytical skills and ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies An independent way of working Strong networking skills across different levels and functions (managers and experts) Ability to work in and with multifunctional teams Preferably a background and experience in Consumer Panel Solutions, achieved within a FMCG/strategy consulting environment
This role can be based in any of our core offices including Nuremberg, Hamburg, Vienna, Copenhagen, Leuven etc with hybrid working.
