About the role

As a Strategic Business Development Associate, you’ll establish meaningful connections with potential enterprise customers and partners. You’ll serve as the initial point of contact for prospective clients in APAC market (Japan), contributing to business growth and playing a crucial role in mobilising our partners in Japan. In addition, you will have a good understanding of the Japanese market and interest of our partners, facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the effectiveness of our business development efforts.

You will report to Business Development Team Lead (APAC) and work closely with our colleagues in sales department, as well as our partners. We are looking for someone to join in either our Copenhagen office.

Your mission

As a Strategic Business Development Associate, you will support our outbound sales organization by creating and qualifying new sales opportunities, mobilising partners to engage in our initiatives and activities.

We are looking for someone who:

Is excited to research, strategize, and communicate with prospects to generate new business. Will map and identify potential partners, and proactively initiate and lead dialogues Take ownership of larger accounts and manage departmentwide projects. Develop and launch strategic campaign approaches in coordination with team leads Has the ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects at the same time with a detail-oriented and structured approach. Has strong communication and presentation skills in Japanese and English (Danish not required)


To qualify for this role, you should have:

Experience: A minimum of 3 years work experience of business development/tech/ market analyst, with a preference for candidate with stakeholder management experience. Collaborative mindset/team-oriented: We believe in teamwork, and you are enthusiastic about achieving success by team effort Strategic thinking: A proven ability to think strategically, identify growth opportunities in different industries or markets, and develop outreach plans to capitalize on them.
