The Position

As our new Associate Manager your key responsibilities will include driving performance, fostering employee engagement, and being part of a management team with 3 leaders, and your team will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

You will oversee short and medium-term planning of our production, utilizing data and standards to enhance production planning. Your team will be responsible for creating and implementing Digital Twin models of our Production facilities (using InoSim) to plan and validate adjustments/re-builds to meet future demands.

You will maintain an overview of forecasted upstream material flow and warehouse capacities, ensuring smooth operations and effective resource management.

Your role will involve managing Business Data solutions, including standardization, storage, and the creation of Manufacturing Intelligence solutions. You will also provide end-user training sessions to empower the creation of value and insights from data.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this Associate Manager position will possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

You have a solid background in Supply Chains, Production/Mathematical Modelling, Production Optimization/Lean, or Data Science.

A relevant degree in Biochemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Data Engineering is required.

2+ years of leadership experience is essential for this role. You'll be leading a team of highly skilled professionals, so it's crucial that you have proven experience in managing, motivating, and developing a team.

Fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

While not a requirement, knowledge, or experience with Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing will be considered a plus.

About the Department

Our department is an organizational unit consisting of three teams working closely together within optimization of Health & Safety, Production Planning and modeling, Training, Quality, Digitalization, Data Science, IT, and Automation. We are a team of 40 people located in Søborg, close to Copenhagen. Our department supports production areas in Bagsværd and Gentofte, called CMC API Pilots, ensuring the supply of API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) to Novo Nordisk Research and Development clinical trials.
