Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is the centre of investment management in the Nordea Group and in the Asset & Wealth Management division. NAM is the largest asset manager in the Nordics with the vision of being a leading European Asset Manager. We want to do this by delivering returns with responsibility. We meet customer demands and guide our customers in the right direction in asset selection while ensuring prudent ESG practices. About this opportunity

Welcome to the Project Office team in NAM Technology. We add value by establishing a clear and comprehensive overview for the execution of our strategic initiatives to ensure that we deliver first class products and services to our clients. As Head of Project Office, you'll play a valuable role ensuring alignment and transparency across our value chain in collaboration with the entire organisation. You will supervise a team of project managers implementing our massive change agenda.

What you'll be doing:

Lead Project office and create a culture of collaboration Facilitate the strategic development portfolio through our prioritization board as well as follow up on progress. Ensure that the team excels in managing larger development activities running across the organisation, making sure that initiatives are delivered on time and with the agreed outcome. Further strengthen the new ways of working, by maturing the Value Streams and thereby ensuring we maximize the business outcome to our clients. Drive and keep the project management methodology in updated like kanban, JIRA, backlog, metrics etc., to ensure that change initiatives are run in a compliant way As part of the management team, be part of further developing our technology organisation by making tangible plans and scopes that can be executed upon.

You'll join a team that plays a very central role in the organisation and thereby gain extensive knowledge about the Asset Mangement industry. The role is based in Copenhagen.

Have leadership experience to set the direction and grow the team Expertise, knowledge and experience within portfolio and project management and has a documented history of optimizing portfolio and delivery processes Great communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and senior stakeholders to get buy-in on decisions that require different parts of the organisation to compromise Objectively describe different alternatives to allow the business to take decision based on facts A great communicator and motivator, both spoken and written in English

Your experience and background:

Relevant Masters degree with good results Great leadership skills, with the ability to develop a collaborative culture and be an excellent sparring partner for the team, to ensure that the team as a whole is considered the natural place to go with new change initiatives Knowledge of the financial industry is a merit 10+ years of progressive experience in project and/or portfolio management, with at least 3 years in leadership roles. Documented history of efficiently leading and delivering complex projects and initiatives across a value chain Experience with lean portfolio management principles, practices, and implementation Deep experience with project management methodologies as agile, scrum and waterfall as well as Value stream methodology Certification in project management (PMP, Prince2, etc.) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) is a merit
