About Us:

Self® is on a mission to offer wellness and massage to every body. Literally Using technology, our non-human masseuse offers high-quality but affordable massages. It also never gets tired and doesn’t need to small talk.

We have spent the past three years developing a cutting-edge massage robot designed to primarily enhance workplace wellbeing. With a dedicated team that includes a robotics professor, senior hardware engineer, cloud and interface engineer, product manager, and finance expert, we're gearing up to scale our product. We aim to transform corporate office environments, enhancing employee retention and productivity through innovative wellness solutions.


The Role:

We are seeking a visionary Head of Sales/Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) who is passionate about sales, marketing, business development, startups, tech, and wellness. You will lead our sales strategies as we bring our groundbreaking product to market. This role offers a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial leader to invest and significantly shape the future of wellness.


Market Validation and Opportunities:

Our technology has been validated in real-world environments, with two robots already deployed that have collectively delivered over 2500 massages. One robot is located in a fitness center operating under a B2C model, while the other enhances the workplace at Visma Dinero, a corporate office. Despite the different user segments, both locations have reported top ratings.

We have a strong pipeline of interest from major corporations interested in both renting and purchasing our robots, indicating significant market demand.

Additionally, we've received interest from a very promising salon chain whom are looking to rent our robots to expand their client base and reduce staffing costs.


Investment & Compensation Structure:

Initial Investment Required: 150,000 DKK, to be used at your discretion but with the purpose of increasing sales.

Compensation: Salary is not guaranteed during the first 10 months; compensation will be heavily geared towards a generous equity package and substantial sales commissions.

Valuation Potential: We are on the cusp of a valuation increase projected to be 5-10 times our current figure. Closing the deal with the salon chain will immediately propel our valuation to this level, offering an unprecedented growth opportunity for our early investors and team members.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to introduce our massage robot to corporate markets, emphasizing the benefits of improved employee wellbeing and retention.

Build and manage a sales team to drive market adoption and achieve sales targets.

Establish and nurture strong relationships with key corporate clients, understanding their unique needs and how our product can meet them.

Collaborate with the product team to relay customer feedback and influence future product developments.

Create pricing strategies and negotiate contracts to maximize profitability and client satisfaction.

Represent our company at industry events and networking gatherings to promote our products and establish strategic partnerships.


Requirements:

Proven success in sales leadership, particularly in tech product launches.

Strong network within corporate wellness, HR solutions, or similar sectors.

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a dynamic startup environment.

Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
