Your Role:As a Robotics Engineer - Navigation - Intern, you will be at the forefront of improving our SLAM stack. Your responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Work with RGBD sensors, e.g. for obstacle avoidance, localization Work with data from LiDARS Work with path planning and painting movement optimization Improve our SLAM stack and work with nav2What You'll Get: Flexible working hours An opportunity to make a tangible impact in an early-stage startup Implementation of your best ideas in real-life applications Office space in an innovation hub alongside other exciting startups Hands-on experience with a real-life mobile robot for testing and experimentation Work remotely, but sometimes work with the robot will be necessary Work with SLAM and nav2 on a holonomic robot in highly unstructured environments
What We're Looking For: Relevant (ongoing) education, ideally robotics or software engineering Proactive problem-solving attitude An eye for details and aesthetics Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python Feeling comfortable working in a Linux environment Familiarity with Git Experience with ROS2 Experience working with SLAM, and the nav2 stack Fluent in English
