We're on the lookout for a Vaccination and Technology Solutions Manager to lead our Poultry Devices and Technology Solutions Portfolio team within our company's Animal Health division, stationed in Europe or the United Kingdom.
Vaccination and Technology Solutions Manager
Purpose:
You'll be in charge of the maintenance, sales, and integration of poultry devices like in-ovo machines, breast injectors, sprayers, day-old chick injectors, and the Technology Solutions portfolio, which includes a monitoring and diagnostics tool. You'll be reporting to the EURAM Poultry Devices Lead.
Welcome to the Team:
As a Vaccination and Technology Solutions Manager, you'll be part of the EURAM Regional Poultry team that backs the local poultry team in executing our company's poultry strategy with key accounts across the EURAM region. This involves setting up plans and tactics for efficient execution, supported by various functions in the organization to ensure top-notch support to our customers and the poultry business.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong communication and cooperation with local teams and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement equipment maintenance and calibration strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and calibration of vaccination equipment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manufacturer guidelines for equipment maintenance.
- Manage the inventory of vaccination equipment, including procurement, storage, and distribution.
- Collaborate with vendors to assess equipment needs, negotiate service agreements, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify potential problems and ensure proper functioning.
- Create and deliver training programs on equipment operation and maintenance protocols.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in vaccination equipment and recommend upgrades as necessary.
- Monitor equipment performance data to optimize efficiency and plan for future needs.
- Perform MAPP365 evaluations during hatchery visits.
- Monitor and assist with the monitoring and diagnostics tool in the field.
- Collect information from local key account managers for the long-term devices pipeline.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's or master's Degree, preferably in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or Animal Science.
- At least 7 years of experience in the animal health industry, focusing on poultry devices and Technology Solutions' portfolio.
- Strong technical understanding of poultry devices and their maintenance requirements.
- Experience in a matrix structure and multicultural environment.
- Financial acumen to create and present financial proposals to multi-country customers.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one other European language.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time across the EURAM region.
- Residing in a European/UK country where our company has a presence.
