About the job Chief Scientific Officer
Med udgangspunkt i din solide videnskabelige baggrund og brede kommercielle markeds- og forretningsforståelse indenfor det prækliniske område, sætter du retningen for og sikrer eksekveringen af Ellegaards produkt- og forretningsudvikling.
Udvikling og eksekvering af den videnskabelige strategi
Med reference til CEO, og i et tæt samarbejde med salgsorganisationen og dit videnskabelige team, udvikler og implementerer du Ellegaard Göttingen Minipigs videnskabelige strategi, og har dermed en absolut hovedrolle i at understøtte de ambitiøse og globale vækstambitioner. Med udgangspunkt i din solide videnskabelig baggrund og brede kommercielle markeds- og forretningsforståelse indenfor det prækliniske område, sætter du retningen for, og sikrer eksekveringen af Ellegaards produkt- og forretningsudvikling samt udviklingen af akademiske udviklingssamarbejder og potentielle strategiske partnerskaber.
Strategisk og udadvendt networker med solid præklinisk erfaring
Du er sandsynligvis læge, dyrlæge, biolog eller har en tilsvarende uddannelse indenfor Life Sciences kombineret med solid erfaring fra det prækliniske område i en senior funktion i Biotech, Pharma eller fra en CRO. Du har dokumenteret erfaring med at kombinere det videnskabelige med det forretningsmæssige i din strategi- og forretningsudvikling, men du har også efterfølgende taktisk og operationelt eksekveret på planerne - både alene og sammen med et mindre team. Derudover har du tidligere haft succes med at opdyrke og udvikle netværk, og du trives i den eksterne kontakt, hvor international rejseaktivitet også er en del af pakken.
Du er visionær og entreprenant, og som person evner du at kombinere det analytiske med det udadvendte og eksekverende. Du ser muligheder, men har samtidig en solid økonomisk og forretningsmæssig tæft, der sætter dig i stand til at sætte retningen for dit team og udvælge de mest værdiskabende strategier og løsninger. Endelig forventes du at være en dygtig networker og kommunikator med gode sociale kompetencer, som sætter dig i stand til at lede, motivere og inspirere dit team og andre interessenter.
