We are seeking a strategic, hands-on, and results-driven Director of Organic Performance to steer and enhance our online presence across multiple markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of navigating a company to a market-leading position through effective organic strategies. This role will oversee organic growth in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Estonia, with a strong focus on our Scandinavian markets.

Develop and Implement Strategy: Develop, implement, and personally execute comprehensive organic growth strategies to increase Klar's online visibility and market share across all our marketsLead and Grow Team: Lead and grow a small team of SEO specialists, fostering their development and expanding the team as neededCoordinate Across Departments: Work closely with Paid Performance, Marketing, and Tech departments to ensure alignment and collaboration on organic growth initiativesEnhance Local SEO: Evolve Klar's current local SEO approach to a more outspoken strategy that drives relevance with our customers across all local marketsOversee SEO Initiatives: Lead SEO initiatives, including on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO, and expanded local SEO strategiesCollaborate on Content: Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure SEO alignment in content creation and digital marketing effortsAnalyze Performance: Analyze website performance, user behavior, and market trends to inform strategy and tacticsOptimize Website: Work with the Tech department to implement SEO best practices and optimize website performanceReport and Track KPIs: Set KPIs and report on organic performance metrics to senior managementOptimize Online Presence: Enhance our online presence for both DIY customers and those seeking professional services Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred 7+ years of experience in SEO or organic growth roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and driving traffic growth for e-commerce and home improvement Demonstrated success in taking a company to a market-leading position through organic growth strategies Deep understanding of SEO best practices, Google algorithms, and search console tools Experience in evolving local SEO strategies to broader, more impactful approaches Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to drive decision-making Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms Hands-on mentality and willingness to personally execute strategies alongside the team Fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian) Ability to develop and implement strategies across multiple markets, with a focus on Scandinavian countriesWhat's in it for you: Opportunity to shape the digital strategy of a growing company and lead it to market dominance A collaborative work environment with a focus on innovation through tech Professional development and learning opportunities Flexible work arrangements
