Research Project Manager – Hamlet Protein

HAMLET PROTEIN is an organization with a strong sense of purpose and a well-established product brand. As HAMLET PROTEIN's new Research Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role ensuring continued positioning of Hamlet Protein through evidence based technical documentation.

Reporting directly to our Marketing Director your key responsibilities will be:

• Securing that all feeding trials sponsored by Hamlet Protein are run in conformance with Hamlet's Protein Feeding Trial Policy.
• Securing that all technical documentation is valid and that documentation of all Hamlet Protein sponsored feeding trials make statistically valid conclusions.
• Balancing the feeding trial portfolio for maximum value creation in quality, cost, and strategic focus.
• Coordinating and continuously consolidating and prioritizing the feeding trial portfolios with stakeholders.
• Co-designing feeding trials with external stakeholders, e.g., customers, universities, or farms, and approving trial design, protocol, and diet compositions in order to maximize usability of results to Hamlet Protein.
• Selecting trial facilities.
• Developing content based on trial outcomes.
• Engaging in all feeding trials and optimizing value-creation versus project cost.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years feed industry experience, preferably in an international organization with global markets.
• An education in animal nutrition, preferably with a PhD.
• Excellent presentation skills – able to present at conferences, etc.
• High interest in staying updated on the latest knowledge within the area.
• Experience with feed formulation, diet design, and protocol.
• Experience with statistical design and data handling.
• Insights into industrially recognized standardized methods and legislative reference methods concerning feeding trials.
• Insights into farm management and feeding regimes and a broad network of experts, contract research organizations, universities, etc.
• Strong drive and motivation for execution.
• Good collaboration skills and the ability to work independently.
• A structured and methodical mindset and strong data analysis skills.
• The ability to think forward and analytically.
• Fluent in Danish and English.
• Location: Hamlet Protein Headquarters in Horsens, Denmark + home office - depending on your location.
