We're looking for a Communications Lead to join our team from May 1st, 2025. You'll be responsible for implementing the organization's communications strategy across all platforms (digital and print), while also providing editorial and creative support to the content team. You're a versatile communicator with an eye for detail and creative flair. You'll join a small but ambitious team dedicated to transforming the restaurant industry and driving change in food systems. This is a full-time position based in Copenhagen, with a fixed term of eight months, ending in January 2026.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the creation, distribution, and maintenance of content across print and digital platforms, including social media, MAD's website, publications, presentations, and fundraising materials.
  • Create and commission high-quality content (articles, photography, and videography) that engages MAD's audience and conveys key messages.
  • Write articles, posts, and other copy that aligns with MAD's voice and editorial standards.
  • Oversee graphic production, ensuring all content adheres to MAD's visual identity and brand guidelines.
  • Carry out light graphic work for social media, publications, and other communication touchpoints.
  • Support the management team with publication, fundraising, branding, and media outreach efforts.
  • Oversee relevant press and media relations activities.

Qualifications

  • A degree in journalism, digital communication, or another relevant media field.
  • Five to ten years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the hospitality, creative, or editorial industries.
  • Native-level fluency in written and spoken English; Danish is an asset.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and consistently seek the best creative results.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail.
  • A creative mindset, strong aesthetic sense, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma (other design software is a plus).
  • An interest in or experience with working internationally, including for nonprofits.
  • A passion for and knowledge of food, hospitality, and sustainability is a plus.
