By learning from high-performing farms, we can unlock significant potential for reducing emissions across the dairy industry and incentivize sustainability development.

How will you make an impact?
As our new FarmAhead Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in driving best practices, as well as further developing and implementing our FarmAhead Check and Incentive tool across countries. You will oversee the operations of our tools and ensure that we consistently deliver outstanding results in terms of timing, quality, and efficiency across all our farms.

To succeed, you will need to work closely with colleagues across our local agriculture teams, as well as our farmer-owners, to identify potential issues and discrepancies. Providing essential information and resources to ensure their success and defining the correct direction will be crucial.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead cross-functional operational teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment that drives success.
  • Operationalize new tool developments, working closely with our scientific leads to bring groundbreaking ideas to life.
  • Facilitate the development of new features for our state-of-the-art tools, from ideation to rigorous scientific evaluation, and subsequent implementation.
  • Manage the process with utmost professionalism, including skillfully preparing cases for decision-making, ensuring fair and effective resolutions.

How will you be successful?
The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of the dairy farming industry, ideally with a background in Agro-biological science. This knowledge is crucial for making impactful decisions for our agricultural partners. They must also grasp the practical challenges faced in dairy farming to overcome significant hurdles and implement effective tactics. Competent project management skills are essential, ensuring timely and efficient completion of projects.

To succeed in this role, you will need to:

  • Have a degree in Agro-biology, Agriculture, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Have at least 7 years of relevant professional experience ideally in the dairy farming sector or a similar industry.
  • Possess the ability to navigate complex situations and effectively and respectfully communicate with stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for details.
  • Thrive in a highly international environment, demonstrating curiosity and adaptability.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in other languages being advantageous.
