The team you'll be part of
We are an international team of about 20 Engineers located across North Europe (Benelux, Nordics & Baltics). Our team is involved in all major accounts in the region to secure the technical deliverables in a growing and challenging business segment. We are in touch with our customers daily while working together with Project Technical Managers, Consulting Engineers, Business Development, Account teams, and teams close to the R&D centers.
We are mostly engaged in the Post-Sales delivery of the project doing Network/Solution Design, Validation & Acceptance, Integration, and Migration for IP solutions. The team is involved in various solutions, such as IP Routing, IP Anyhaul, Virtualization, Data Center Fabrics & Carrier SDN Management solutions.
As an NPI engineer, you'll become a specialist in various solutions, providing expertise in Proof-of-Concepts & Customer Technical Workshops, while looking after Technical Project Deliverables in Professional Service projects.

What you will learn and contribute to
Are you passionate about solving problems?
As part of our team, you will:
- Capture technical use cases and network requirements for various customers as National & International Carriers, Enterprises & Webscale operators.
- Support customers with short international business travels, sometimes at short notice.
- Validate innovative use cases in Nokia and/or customer sites.
- Produce High and Low-Level Network Design solutions, followed by detailed configurations.
- Document Acceptance Test Plan, Method of Procedure(s) descriptions.
- Apply Automation techniques to secure quality and gain efficiency.
- Responsible for Solution Testing.
- Develop, test & validate scripts, maintaining a library of use and reference cases.
- Present technical workshops to internal Nokia and external customers.
- Work with multiple stakeholders to cover Nokia e2e-solutions.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Your skills and experience
You have:
- Masters in Engineering or 3-5 years of experience in the telecom industry, dealing with IP technologies.
- Knowledgeable in industry Operation Systems, Scripting, and Master programming languages and techniques.
- Hands-on experience in configuring & troubleshooting environments.
- Eligible for Personal Security Clearance, level Secret.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience with networking protocols (BGP/MPLS/etc), VPNs, QoS, Multicast, Security, etc.
- Experience deploying KVM, Kubernetes, VMWare, Containers.
- Experience with Linux and Python.
- Nokia SRA, Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE or equivalent Certification are a plus.
