As the Senior Controller, your mission will be to ensure the financial integrity and efficiency of the company's operations. You will be instrumental in providing accurate financial reporting, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining robust financial controls and fostering a culture of financial excellence across the organisation.

-- RESPONSIBILITIES --

  1. Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, with a focus on manufacturing cost accounting and variance analysis.
  2. Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, specifically tailored to manufacturing operations and production cycles.
  3. Implement and maintain effective internal controls and compliance procedures relevant to a manufacturing environment.
  4. Lead the financial reporting and analysis for multiple manufacturing business units.
  5. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management, with a strong emphasis on optimising manufacturing financial performance.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional manufacturing teams to optimise financial performance and drive operational efficiency.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations, particularly IFRS, within a manufacturing context.
  8. Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, with a focus on developing expertise in manufacturing finance.

-- REQUIREMENTS --

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  2. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial controlling, with a significant portion specifically within the manufacturing industry.
  3. Proven expertise in manufacturing cost accounting, inventory management, and production variance analysis.
  4. Strong knowledge of IFRS.
  5. Ideally a proven track record of managing financial reporting and analysis in a multinational manufacturing company.
  6. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  9. Fluency in English and Danish.
  10. Willingness to work from the office 3 days a week and travel within Europe when necessary (not frequently).
