What you will be doing
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving agile product development from idea to go-live including transition to DevOps. Together with our internal stakeholders and external partners, you will build strong project teams (5-8 team members), translating initiatives into successful projects delivering tangible benefits to people with chronic diseases.

Additionally, you can also expect:

  • Working in projects such as app development within several drug therapy areas; partner integrations; data pipelines; and software development.
  • Taking part in the development of the department.
  • Proactively identifying better practices and bringing improvements to the area.
  • Being exposed to many different business areas throughout Novo Nordisk both in Denmark and globally.

The position is based in Søborg/Ørestad, and there will be around 25-35 days of travel per year. Since you will collaborate with colleagues across the globe, some meetings may take place outside DK working hours.

The team waiting for you
Digital Health Solutions - based in Søborg, Denmark - works in close collaboration with Digital Health business units across therapy areas, Commercial IT as well as external partners to bring innovative digital solutions to patients globally, living with diabetes and other chronic diseases.

Digital Health Solutions is responsible for developing Apps that are directly used by patients as well as the backend services and systems that support them. The Apps are used for medical purposes and will likely be integrated with connected medical devices such as connected injection pens and other connected devices.

You will join 60+ colleagues with various backgrounds such as Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Software developers, Compliance & Quality experts, Digital Solution Architects, System Managers, DevOps Engineers, and Cyber Security engineers.

Which competencies to bring
To succeed in this role, we imagine the ideal candidate meets the following:

  • Master's degree within a relevant field.
  • Around 3 years' experience in IT project management, preferably within pharma or another regulated industry.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum, with demonstrated ability to facilitate, coach, and lead teams to efficient delivery.
  • Familiarity with cloud offerings, software development, mobile technologies, and apps.
  • Proven experience delivering successful projects, working with internal teams as well as external development partners.
  • Fluency in English.

On a personal level, you have good communication skills and excel in building relations. You set direction and drive performance while ensuring quality and progress by being pragmatic. Moreover, you prioritize knowledge sharing both within the team and with others, and the well-being of your project team is important to you.
