We are seeking a skilled and motivated MarTech data engineer to join our MarTech team.

About MarTech in Nuuday
MarTech team is responsible for the shared marketing technology stack across Nuuday, orchestrating a number of marketing tools centered around the Adobe Experience Platform. We're handling data modelling, configuring tools, setting up journeys and email templates etc. to meet the needs of the brands within Nuuday. Aside from this we're also advising our colleagues on MarTech related issues and supporting implementation and integration of new tools whenever needed.

Your role
As MarTech data engineer at Nuuday you will play a critical role in integrating various data sources and systems with and within our MarTech stack. This role will involve designing and maintaining data models, ensuring seamless data flows, and supporting the technical infrastructure needed for effective marketing operations.

MarTech is working closely with our data platform teams who are doing most of the data infrastructure design for Nuuday. We are specifying MarTech requirements and integrating to the shared data platform.

During a work week you will most likely be engaged in activities like:

  • Develop and maintain integrations between the Adobe MarTech stack and various internal and external data sources.
  • Document data models and data flows.
  • Work closely with other departments to integrate data systems and ensure interoperability.
  • Maintain and optimize data models in both Customer Data Platform (CDP) and other database systems to support various marketing initiatives as well as commercial insights.
  • Collaborate with the Data Manager to design, document, implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
  • Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure high data quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and processing issues.
  • Ensure system reliability and performance by regularly monitoring data pipelines and integration processes.
  • Work closely with Data Managers, Audience Strategists, Campaign Managers and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to your MarTech colleagues and marketing and business teams on data-related projects.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance data integration and processing efficiency.

You will be reporting to the Head of MarTech.

You most likely cover most of the following

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or a similar role, preferably within MarTech in a large organization or telco company.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience with Adobe Experience Cloud or similar MarTech platform.
  • Hands on experience with data modeling techniques and best practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for data engineering purposes.
  • Experience with API integration and web services.
  • Understanding of data privacy and compliance requirements.
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python, Node JS or similar.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • You have professional working language proficiency in English, and ideally also in Danish.

A part of Nuuday Next Gen Data-driven IT
The MarTech team in Nuuday Technology is a part of our Next Gen Data-driven IT department, which is also housing BI, data analytics- and AI departments as well as the corporate application portfolio management function within ERP, CXM etc.
