Sustainability Consultant / Senior Consultant – Nuuday (consisting of YouSee, TDC Erhverv, eesy, Telmore, Hiper and Relatel)

Join Nuuday, a leading provider of B2B and B2C telecommunications services in Denmark, as our new Sustainability Consultant / Senior Consultant. We are seeking a motivated person to drive our sustainability agenda forward, manage and project lead CSRD implementation in a strategic way, and bring value to customers, stakeholders, and society at large.

Sustainability Consultant / Senior Consultant at Nuuday – about the role: As the Sustainability Consultant in Nuuday, you will report to the Head of Sustainability and work closely with Nuuday's brands, finance, and other support functions in your day-to-day work. Your first task will be to project manage the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) in Nuuday in close collaboration with the ESG controller, the Head of Sustainability, and the CSRD working group. With the CSRD implementation, we will in the coming year rethink our ESG approach including the link to our corporate strategy, our ESG governance, how to work with identified ESG risks/opportunities and similar. You will, therefore, play an essential role in this fundamental strategic ESG change management exercise across our business.

Some of the main tasks in 2025 will be to:

  • Project lead CSRD implementation, ensuring continuous progress
  • Ensure the CSRD framework is used strategically and commercially – and not just as a compliance exercise
  • Ensure strong onboarding and collaboration with relevant parts of the organization
  • Conduct internal CSRD Steering Committees
  • Build the strategic narrative in the CSRD reporting together with communication
  • Ensure proper communication to the Board of Directors and Audit Committee on CSRD and the sustainability topic in general

Nuuday will be reporting according to CSRD in the beginning of 2026 with the FY2025 report, and we have conducted some of the first important steps including the Double Materiality Assessment. After the first CSRD reporting, we expect that there will be time to lead other strategic ESG projects.

Qualifications and prerequisites – about you: Maybe you have worked in consulting or an accounting firm such as Big 4, and now want to manage a first CSRD implementation in a leading Danish organization. Maybe you have only heard of the CSRD abbreviation in headlines. Professional experience in the ESG/sustainability field is a plus, but not necessary as long as you are fueled with high ambitions and a willingness to learn and grow within the ESG field. We are looking for a consultant that excels in structured problem solving and project management. Ideally, you have:

  • A master's degree in business, economics, finance, sustainability, or a related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience from large companies and/or management consulting
  • Very good project management skills enabling you to advance the sustainability agenda forward in a structured and efficient manner
  • A solid toolbox and the ability to apply a data-driven and structured approach to sustainability
  • Effective communication abilities
  • Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

For you to thrive as a Sustainability Consultant at Nuuday you will be required to navigate and act independently in a large organization and lean into the overlapping roles of being expert, advisor, project manager, and communicator. You should be able to cut through complexity and communicate strategically to your audiences in writing, visually, and verbally. Maybe you have worked in consulting or professional organizations where you have acquired a solid understanding of tools and methods to prosper in this role.
