The ideal candidate will have experience in successfully rolling out data governance initiatives in large, data-rich organisations and a passion for data and pragmatic solutions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Collaborate closely to shape the relevant aspects of Ramboll's overall data strategy, and own the delivery of data governance initiatives set.
- Support our iterative approach to delivering data improvements and ensuring that future endeavours support business priorities.
- Lead greenfield data ownership and stewardship initiatives, promoting a culture of data accountability and responsibility.
- Support Data & AI literacy and adoption initiatives.
- Mentor, coach, and grow the careers of team members within the Data Governance Chapter, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development.
- Oversee performance evaluations of chapter members, focusing on career development and coaching.
- Ensure all members of the chapter have clear goals and professional development plans.
- Work with the following personas on a technical level: Data and AI Product Owners, Data Architects, Business Integrity Managers, Cloud Engineers, Agile Coaches/Scrum Masters, Subject Matter Experts, Business Analysts and other Ramboll Tech Chapter Leads.
- Translate data governance concepts and best practice into tangible examples for stakeholders.
- Set enterprise-wide best practice for data governance, in collaboration with relevant experts.
- Understand the relationship between data governance and data quality, and set a pragmatic, flexible approach on how we can tackle data quality issues.
- Act as a liaison between the Data Governance Chapter and various teams, both in and outside of Ramboll Tech, ensuring chapter alignment with business objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to teams by partnering with Product Owners/team leads to implement and optimise workflows that integrate seamlessly with the teams' objectives.
HOW YOU WILL SUCCEED IN YOUR ROLE

- Experience working with cloud technologies, particularly Azure.
Skills:
- You are a data governance expert, and understand the value it brings to Ramboll's business.
- You have experience with DAMA Data Management Framework.
- You have a proven ability to lead and mentor analysts, focusing on the growth and development of the team.
- You have experience working in Agile methodology and fostering an Agile culture.
- You have strong relationship-building skills, exceptional communication skills, and can convey complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- You are skilled in clear and proactive stakeholder management - managing expectations, gathering feedback and mediating conflicting priorities.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You enjoy teamwork and support colleagues in learning from you.

We encourage you to apply even if your profile does not meet all the requirements for the role. We are looking for a diverse range of experiences, skills, and interests to enrich our team.
WHAT DEFINES US: CURIOSITY, OPTIMISM, AMBITION, EMPATHY
Our team at Ramboll Tech is currently on a steep growth trajectory while maintaining a strong team culture.
- We are curious about other people and their motivations; about new business models and technologies; about each other and the future.
- We are optimistic, focusing on solutions rather than problems; we plan for success and are willing to take calculated risks instead of playing it safe.
- We are ambitious, setting our own standards higher than others' expectations, and we celebrate each other's successes.
- We are empathetic, taking ourselves, others, and each other seriously without prejudgment, and we help each other and our clients, colleagues, and the world.
HOW WE WORK AS A TEAM
Our team culture is crucial to us; that's why we take time daily to exchange ideas and discuss our work priorities. We support each other when facing challenges and foster a strong team spirit. We aim to learn and grow continuously from one another. We value diversity, and although we're not perfect, we regularly engage in open discussions about how we can improve in this area.
Our current hybrid work approach focuses on adapting to different needs, including increased flexibility that works best for our global teams and individuals, with as much autonomy as possible.
