The position
The Medical Director plays a crucial role, offering medical expertise and leadership while building relationships to support regional sales, marketing, clinical, and medical affairs teams. The primary objective is to achieve strategic and operational business goals while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and customers.

In this position, the Medical Director will oversee a dedicated medical team with highly skilled individuals, lead the development and execution of medical, scientific, and clinical trial initiatives, and design communication strategies. These efforts are focused on driving sustainable business growth in alignment with the company's strategic objectives, all while upholding the highest ethical and compliance standards.

Must have criteria

  • Strong cross-functional skills with related functions apart from medical.
  • A solid business-oriented mindset.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in medical affairs.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Extensive scientific knowledge.
  • Action-oriented and easy-going with a strong focus on achieving results.
  • Open to traveling globally with the right mindset.
  • Specialized expertise in relevant therapeutic areas.
  • Preferably located in the Stockholm region.
  • Proficiency in Swedish is a plus.
