We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Scientist to join our dynamic team at the forefront of innovative solutions in planetary health. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise to impactful, global challenges and work alongside passionate colleagues who share a vision for sustainable and transformative science.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving applied R&D activities that leverage your deep scientific knowledge. You will develop and optimize assays to address complex challenges, delivering solutions specifically designed to meet the unique needs of our customers worldwide.

Welcome to Scientific Support, Animal and Plant Applied R&D
As we continue to grow and innovate, we are seeking a passionate Scientist who is eager to make a difference for our customers. You will be part of our Scientific Support team based in Hørsholm, working alongside a team of 4 colleagues, and you will report to the Scientific Support Team Manager. We foster a 'can-do' attitude in a collaborative and trusting environment where everyone supports each other's growth and development.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

  • Designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and preparing detailed reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working closely with product and portfolio managers and the sales organization, maintaining open communication to ensure project/task alignment and success.
  • Resolving scientific and technical challenges to address customers' needs.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to technicians to ensure efficient and high-quality laboratory operations.
  • Staying up to date and seeking advanced technologies by collaborating across departments to drive innovation and improvement.

Potentially relevant experience:

  • Ph.D. or master's degree with at least 3 years' experience in the field of microbiology/bacteria.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to address customer challenges with creative and efficient solutions.
  • Proven expertise in microbiology, and experience in molecular microbiology, cell biology, microbiome, in-vitro and ex-vivo models.
  • Knowledge in automation processes is a plus.
  • Knowledge about agricultural industries (animal/plant sciences) and BioSolutions (probiotic/enzymes technology) is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and cross-regional teams, and across different job levels.
  • Ability to convey complex scientific concepts to non-expert stakeholders.
  • Experience managing projects and prioritizing tasks ensuring that deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
