This role leads clinical development projects and provides medical and scientific expertise to drive clinical excellence and outcomes in dermatology. Your Role As a Medical Director, you will design, develop, and execute clinical trials, and serve as a subject matter expert in dermatology. You will provide medical leadership and collaborate with key stakeholders to advance our mission to improve lives of people with skin diseases. - Design, develop, and oversee clinical trials that are scientifically robust, ethically sound, and aligned with strategic goals. - Act as the subject matter expert in dermatology; stay abreast of scientific literature, guidelines, and competitive landscape to provide informed medical and scientific advice. - Partner with internal teams to offer scientific support, deliver staff training, and maintain deep expertise within the therapeutic area. - Support preparation of clinical trial protocols, informed consent forms, and regulatory submissions; participate in interactions with regulatory authorities (e.g., IND submissions). - Capture insights from clinical practice, support real-world evidence initiatives, and integrate external perspectives to shape strategies and development plans. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should bring: - A master’s degree in medicine (MD) and a scientific degree (PhD or equivalent). - Strong expertise in clinical trial methodology, GCP, drug development, regulatory interactions, and clinical trial documentation. - Knowledge of legal requirements for clinical research and clinical trial execution. - Excellent scientific writing skills and experience providing medical and scientific guidance. - Effective collaboration and communication skills across multiple functions and stakeholders. - Clinical experience in dermatology (preferred but not required). - Fluency in English. You are a highly energized and structured professional with a passion for innovation in clinical development. You excel in stakeholder management at all levels and can communicate clearly and engagingly. Your subject matter expertise drives high-quality outcomes.
