Excited about shaping the future of wind energy infrastructure?
We are currently seeking a structural engineer who will be responsible for guiding the design and enhancement of essential elements within our main bearing arrangement. Work alongside esteemed colleagues to encourage breakthroughs and maintain the durability of our modern wind turbines.
Responsibilities
- Develop functional area roadmaps for continuous improvements, collaborating closely with relevant stakeholders to clarify design requirements.
- Define and design interfaces to seamlessly integrate with other systems.
- Ensure the performance and reliability of designs, including estimating their lifetime based on data.
- Assess and manage risks and safety associated with the design.
- Collaborate with experts from various engineering disciplines.
- Coordinate technical functional reviews and drive the digitalization path within the functional domain.
- Monitor component performance in production and service.
Qualifications
- Masters or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in designing and developing dynamic mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using tools like Ansys.
- Ability to code proficiently with scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB.
- Familiarity with Systems Engineering principles and experience in manufacturing welded or bolted solutions.
- Exhibit good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Additional information
Our preferred work location for this role will be either Aarhus, Denmark or Porto, Portugal.
