The team

You will become part of a small newly formed team working with colleagues across Northern Europe. As Business Performance Management Associate, you will play a crucial role in connecting the Finance, Operations, Business, Digital & other supporting teams to enable decision making. You will report directly to the Director of Business Performance Management in Denmark and collaborate closely with different enabling and investing teams across Nrep. You will be supported by your team members, also situated in Copenhagen. At Nrep we believe in personal development, and you will receive coaching and mentoring to support your own growth journey.

About the role

As Business Performance Management Associate, your responsibilities will include running the forecasting & budget process, enabling data driven business decision support, and developing processes. You will contribute to strategic decision-making by providing structure, business acumen, and business insights. The role is focused on the Nrep real estate investment portfolio and the performance management processes supporting decision making.

Key responsibilities

  • Continue to develop forecasting & budgeting software (Jedox) and ensure a customer centric software experience across Nrep.
  • Consolidate, communicate, and drive forecasting and budgeting processes, including analysis and reporting.
  • Contribute to shaping and expanding the role of the Business Performance Management team, including balance sheet and cash-flow forecasting.
  • Lead process enhancement initiatives within reporting, analysis, and communication with a clear focus on the end customer/-s.
  • Support the setting and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) in business intelligence tools (BI) to enhance reporting structures across Nrep.
  • Develop BI & automate reporting to further improve customer experience in operational & management teams.
  • Drive collaboration with other supporting functions in Nrep and wider Urban Partners including digital, finance, asset development, sustainability & business support.
  • Develop and maintain operational & financial data structures in collaboration with BI and Digital teams, supporting standardization of the data setup.

In addition, you will co-lead our culture and collaborate with the broader Nrep team to develop effective ways of working together. Limited travel activity may be expected. We are committed to supporting your development and offer opportunities for gradually growing responsibilities.

Your experience and skills

You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree within a relevant field, such as Finance, Accounting or Business Intelligence. You have at least three years of relevant work experience in areas such as finance consultancy, business controlling, finance business partnering and/or digital finance. A good understanding of financial modelling and accounting will be needed, as well as the ability to structure data and information into business insights.

We expect you to be comfortable expressing and discussing your own views while also being receptive to feedback and open to testing new ideas. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to conceptualize solutions. You should have proven expertise in bringing clarity to complex problems. Additionally, you should be self-driven, possess excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, have a strong ethical foundation, and can build lasting relationships.

Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is required.
