Stibo DX is a software company that develops and delivers editorial systems for the media industry. The company is known for its CUE platform, which media platforms use to produce and publish content for websites, smartphones, social media, apps, print, etc.

You will be part of the Professional Services division which consists of ≈35 employees distributed across offices in Aarhus, Atlanta, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Malaga and Oslo and be reporting to the Chief Delivery Officer.

The division has, together with the company's other divisions, begun a long-term transition, currently in year 2 of a 5-year plan, towards increased professionalization and positioning of consultants and services higher in the value chain.

The perspective is further development of the entire consulting business, including the Workflow/Print department, which is expected to expand in several places around the world.

Your new working day

You will play a key role in the further development of the department's consultants and services, including direct management of your team of currently ≈8-10 FTEs. Your focus will be to drive the development of service packages, concepts and go-to-market strategies for the entire division in collaboration with the rest of the management team.

As VP you will automatically become part of the company's Senior Leadership Team, a cross-functional team that includes leaders from the other divisions. For the ambitious candidate, there is ample opportunity to further develop elsewhere in the company.

Your primary tasks will be:

1. Business development of the department with the aim of delivering services to customers, ensuring customers get the most value from their product suite in accordance with the customer's business goals/strategy.
2. Leading and development of the consultants.
3. Development of service packages together with the Product Division, defined as a strategic project.
4. Resource management: general staffing of tasks, proposals and projects in collaboration with the other managers.
5. Change management.

An open and modern management style is practiced based on commitment, trust and development of the individual manager.

The team needs these competencies

You have experience from consulting and leading a team of consultants. It is an advantage if you have experience in developing service offerings for existing clients.

Your professional background is ideally characterized by the following:

1. Proven experience in a similar role within the media industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas for an assigned region, market or offering.
2. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams, from coaching team members to leading by example.
3. Solid understanding of the news media industry and its unique challenges and opportunities is an advantage.

Your personal qualities are ideally the following:

1. You are ambitious and have a high drive.
2. You have experience in driving change and leading a team through transformation.
3. Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
