København, Denmark Genmab Full time

At Genmab, we’re committed to building extraordinary futures together, by developing antibody products and pioneering therapies that change the lives of patients and the future of cancer treatment and serious diseases. From our people who are caring, candid, and impact-driven to our business, which is innovative and rooted in science, we believe that being proudly unique, determined to be our best, and authentic is essential to fulfilling our purpose.

The Role

The Facility Manager will lead a small team and report to the Director of Facility Management in Denmark.

At Genmab, we are offering a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team of passionate and innovative colleagues. Besides engaging and developmental tasks, you will have the chance to manage and develop the team.

You will oversee our 'hard' FM services at our lab/office locations in Copenhagen/Ballerup. And this role allows you to work in an extraordinary organization and make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and develop a team of hard-services professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
  2. Lead daily technical operations, service requests, and maintenance across our DK sites.
  3. Implement technical maintenance programs to ensure optimal functioning in partnership with building management.
  4. Develop effective strategies and protocols to improve operational performance and align with regulations and global facilities standards.
  5. Manage records and documentation, including insurance plans, service contracts, and financial records.
  6. Ensure all permits are up to date and in compliance with regulations.
  7. Use data and analytics to track performance metrics and identify areas that can be improved.
  8. Develop and lead the "hard services" operating budget, optimizing costs while ensuring quality and service levels.
  9. Handle external hard services vendor/partner relationships, including procurement, contract negotiations, and performance evaluation.
  10. Implement sustainability initiatives to minimize environmental impact.
  11. Conduct regular risk assessments and develop emergency procedures for DK facilities.
  12. Serve as project lead for facilities-related projects.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years in Facilities Management.
  2. Previous line management experience would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
  3. Demonstrated understanding of safe operation of facilities equipment and maintenance.
  4. Experience in vendor, contract, and budget management.
  5. Strong communication skills - both oral and written - in English and Danish. English is our corporate language, and all written materials are produced in English.
  6. A full driver’s license.

Moreover, it is expected that you have the following:

  1. A pro-active, enthusiastic and goal-oriented problem-solver attitude.
  2. A team player approach with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external partners.
  3. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and define steps needed to achieve project and team goals.

About You

  1. You are passionate about our purpose and genuinely care about our mission to transform the lives of patients through innovative cancer treatment.
  2. You bring rigor and excellence to all that you do. You are a fierce believer in our rooted-in-science approach to problem-solving.
  3. You are a generous collaborator who can work in teams with diverse backgrounds.
  4. You are determined to do and be your best and take pride in enabling the best work of others on the team.
  5. You are not afraid to grapple with the unknown and be innovative.
  6. You have experience working in a fast-growing, dynamic company (or a strong desire to).
  7. You work hard and are not afraid to have a little fun while you do so.
