The Sales & Operations Planning department (S&OP) in Novonesis is looking for a Global Demand & Supply Planner. We offer a position with an international work environment and opportunities to take on complex challenges.

Welcome to the Sales & Operations Planning department …
We are part of Global Operations and our main task is to control global supply and demand planning and ensure alignment of plans across Sales, Marketing, Production, Logistics, and Finance.

We are a team of dedicated colleagues working within supply chain management and development; all to optimize delivery performance, inventory levels and costs to drive scalability in operations.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

Your primary task will be within two areas;

Demand planning -

1. Support the Sales & Operations Planning process within FC&E with the goal of ensuring consensus on one business wide demand plan as well as an effective Supply/Demand balance. This includes preparation work for monthly demand review meetings as well as support to local planners and production sites.
2. Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results. SAP APO/SAP IBP Demand Planning software is the primary forecasting system tool.
3. Optimize performance measures through the coordination and communication with key supply chain stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, and Product Supply management.

Supply planning –

1. Coordinate global bulk planning activities e.g., balancing global capacities and inventory levels, including coordinating replenishment on traded bulks.
2. Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing production or replenishment strategies on existing items, new products and product phase-outs.
3. Identify, initiate and drive supply chain optimization projects to improve performance measures. Optimization could include system tools, reporting and process reengineering.

To succeed you must hold:

• A graduate degree (MSc) in Supply Chain Management/logistics or a related field.
• Experience within an S&OP environment is preferred.
• Full understanding of forecasting, ERP, & MRP manufacturing information systems SAP ECC, SAP APO and SAP IBP knowledge a plus.
• Process oriented mindset with strong analytical skills and systematic problem-solving abilities.

You are an open and honest person, who invites to and engages in cooperation. You have the ability to work effectively in a team and in an international environment. You have good communication skills in both English as the company language is English, and you will be working closely together with colleagues on all levels in the global organization. Danish will be considered a plus.
