As Senior Manager on the Circular Business Models team, you will use your knowledge and experience to lead pivotal initiatives, provide expert guidance and shape circular recommendations for the LEGO Group. To succeed in the role, you will rely on a record of strong foresight capabilities, proven inventive yet comprehensive thinking, and strong people and communications skills.
Core Responsibilities
Expand our current sustainability strategy and execution capabilities by partnering with the Head of Circular Business Models to develop and deliver a forward-thinking circular roadmap that celebrates the inherent circular qualities of LEGO bricks and keeps them in play for longer.
- Conceive and test circular business model explorations focused towards product/market fit
- Scout and onboard circular solutions, external services or innovation partners
- Apply previous experience to identify potential operational challenges and develop approaches for embedding circular models into the business
- Collaborate with sustainability/broader cross-functional teams to jointly deliver end-to-end circular business model use cases
- Monitor and report on circular business model innovations
- Apply strong partnering skills to drive projects/sprints in an effective and structured manner, while engaging with relevant colleagues using your interpersonal skills

The LEGO Group’s Circular Business Models team, which sits within the central Sustainability team, is leading the enterprise on this topic – supporting the LEGO Group’s Planet Promise by focusing on building capabilities to unlock Circular Business Models for the LEGO Group. This is a key sustainability priority with significant focus and support across the organization.
Do you have what it takes?
- Very extensive experience leading complex, pioneering projects within global organizations
- Deep and nuanced understanding of circular business models, including familiarity with key market players and trends
- Strong knowledge of circularity and innovation roadmapping in the context of a corporate strategy
- Inventive and inclusive approach that considers design thinking and other innovative methodologies
- Motivated by being “one step ahead,” with high energy to link the future with the present
- Analytical-conceptual strength with an affinity for storytelling using real-world data and insights
- Self-directed and collaborative contributor with excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to engage collaborators at all levels to generate shared purpose
