YouSee is Denmark's largest subscription business with more than 3 million subscriptions across TV & Streaming, Internet, Mobile and Landline. The effectiveness of our endeavors is tied to the reputation of our brand and the continual engagement and attraction of customers. With over 1.5 million individual customer-initiated transactions per year where new customers enter and existing customers change products or terminate, our ability to manage these transactions and optimize value is paramount to our financial performance where even minor improvements can have large scale consequences.
About the job
The overall accountability of the Customer Base Management team is to reduce churn and optimize gross profit per user (GPPU) across all portfolios (i.e. TV & Streaming, Internet, Mobile and Landline). As part of that mission, your key responsibilities are:
- You will operate within the domain of channels (e.g. telephone, retail, self-service etc.) and related processes (e.g. technology changes, address move etc.) where you will provide relevant data reports with metrics that enables insight on how to reduce churn, minimize down-migrations and maximize up-migrations.
- You will automate and democratize insights and reports used to identify pain points, track KPIs and movements to improve data access and enabling an efficient production of initiatives.
- Proactively monitor and analyze short term performance and long-term trends of relevant metrics to identify business opportunities that improves P&L and enables countering negative movements with due diligence.
- You will own, manage and improve monthly, quarterly, yearly forecasting and budgeting process on relevant metrics like terminations, churn and migrations to accurately predict trends and inform decision-making.
- Assess implemented initiatives for continuous improvement and create best practice methods for evaluation of initiatives.
About you
You are clearly motivated by manipulating data, understanding problems and opportunities that can lead to multiple initiatives which impacts business significantly. You approach tasks analytically while still focusing on getting the job done within reasonable time, understanding the need to execute initiatives on short term as well as building up insights for long term use.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can transform complex data into usable and clear insights.
- You confidently structure and analyze large amounts of data using different analytical tools and software (Excel, PBI, SQL).
- You possess great communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders easily engaging and communicating well with Commercial Managers.
- Experience with building data models & reports and presenting insights in visualization tools (Power BI & Tableau) is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably within subscription industry.
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
