YouSee is Denmark's largest subscription business with more than 3 million subscriptions across TV & Streaming, Internet, Mobile and Landline. With the wide span of portfolios and many subscribers it is essential to manage and ensure the optimal base composition balancing customer needs and profits.

About the job
The overall objective of the Customer Base Management team is to reduce churn and optimize gross profit per user (GPPU) across all portfolios (i.e. TV & Streaming, Internet, Mobile and Landline). As part of that mission, your key responsibilities are:

  • Deliver a strategic direction for retention and profit optimization efforts continuously adapted and adjusted in accordance with changing conditions.
  • Own short- and long-term roadmap that outlines how goals are achieved. This includes roadmap for internal base activities, but you will also be accountable for merging in and owning the plan for various external events (e.g. TDC NET closing DSL network towards 2030) and manage complex segment overlap to ensure smooth customer journeys.
  • Besides laying out the strategic direction and owning the roadmap for CBM, you will operate within the specific domain related to customer holdings (portfolios) where you will create a base framework of segmentation and initiative efforts (e.g. high churn and low GPPU groups).
  • Based on your framework a comprehensive customer base overview and segmentation is conducted by a Commercial Analyst who will also carry out data mapping where customers are moved from portfolio A to portfolio B. In this exercise you will provide the commercial aspects like costs, profit and churn levels, conduct impact analysis, prepare business case and provide recommendations for migration initiatives.
  • You will secure a diligent handover of approved initiatives to execution teams and take part of execution as concept owner for successful implementation.
  • Because you are an expert in sensitive customer groups you will also service as key input stakeholder for major price increases and retention portfolios.

Your history has yielded in positive results because you aim for continuous improvement and do not accept status quo.

  • You possess a proactive can-do mentality that identifies opportunities, drives continuous improvement, overcomes barriers and utilizes frameworks such as the Situation-Complication-Resolution model.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities, allowing you to systematically dissect complex issues and devise creative solutions.
  • You possess a solid understanding of customer base management and subscription metrics, including churn reduction, profit optimization and customer lifetime value.
  • You have a structured, data-driven mindset, with analytical skills and an organized approach to business and progress.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel is essential, enabling you to create great presentations and manipulate data effectively.
  • You have great communication skills and a remarkable ability to effectively convey complex messages and engage effectively with senior management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in subscription business (e.g. Telco, Insurance etc.)
  • You hold a relevant master's degree in business administration, economics or similar.
