A Global FMCG company, embarking on a number of major IT transformation initiatives is looking for a Finance, IT transformation leader to own delivery, product roadmap and value realisation for Finance digital products across Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete Finance digital product roadmap, delivery, and value realization, including value uplift and cost savings.
  • Develop and manage digital products throughout their lifecycle within the Finance portfolio.
  • Govern the portfolio using criteria and process gates to approve or deny funding for products or activity systems.
  • Define and maintain a set of Finance digital activity systems, and lead the end-to-end digital transformation strategy for Finance, encompassing the digital product landscape, transformation and change approach, and value realization framework.
  • Generate new opportunities, co-create solutions, and drive the innovation agenda for Finance transformation.
  • Prioritize initiative requests by assessing them in relation to the overall digital transformation strategy, alignment with the current digital product portfolio, potential for change/adoption success, business case viability, and resource availability.
  • Coordinate with Finance stakeholders across group, regional, and local markets.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Data & AI, and Security management to ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture, full data and analytics enablement, and compliance with company information security requirements.
  • Manage digital resource capacity allocated to products and programs within the Finance portfolio.
  • Advocate for and develop best practices and thought leadership in digital Finance.

Requirements

  • Experience in digital project and/or product management, either in leading or supporting roles.
  • Experience working with Finance in the FMCG industry, either in a core finance role, supporting finance from IT, or in finance digital transformation consulting engagements.
  • Proven expertise in key Finance processes, including Record-to-Report, Invoice-to-Pay, Invoice-to-Cash, Product Management, Plan-to-Report, Tax, and Treasury.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA for Finance and other complementary software solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Entrepreneurial product mindset with the ability to innovate and advise business stakeholders.
  • Ability to structure a team within an agile delivery model.
  • Confidence in independently developing detailed value/business cases for digital initiatives.
  • Experience driving innovation through proof-of-concepts and MVPs.
