Financial Controller

Be part of the development in a large international group
You will report to the Senior Finance Manager and be part of the Finance department, consisting of 13 employees in Vejle.

As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the financial controlling and consolidation of the seven entities at the group level.

One of your primary tasks will be the monthly and year-end closing of the Danish legal entities together with your fellow Financial Controller colleagues.

Other main tasks include:

  • Preparation of material for the monthly accounting meetings, including deviation reporting (“gap” analysis)
  • Participation in the preparation of the group annual report
  • Maintaining Transfer Pricing documentation and liaising with PMI’s transfer pricing specialist team to ensure operational compliance (SOX and other internal controls)
  • Contacting authorities to ensure correct reporting of taxes, liaising with accountants, banks, external auditors, and the PMI tax team.

Your success will be measured not only by ensuring timely delivery of tasks but also by your understanding and interest in the business, including taking responsibility and ownership of your area of responsibility and having the courage to learn something new.

Experience as Accountant or Finance Controller

You have a higher financial education, probably a master's degree in accounting or an HD(R), and perhaps 3-5 years' experience as an accountant. Alternatively, you may already be working as a Financial Controller and wish to join an international group where personal learning and career opportunities are abundant.

You will be part of a highly exciting company, where you will encounter stimulating tasks and challenges both professionally and personally in interaction with the business and your skilled colleagues.

Preferably, you have experience with the consolidation of Danish and foreign subsidiaries, and experience in making gap analyses is an advantage.

You have a proactive and structured work approach, and you are curious about the business behind the numbers.
