Senior Project Manager

Howden Turbo in Helsingør, Denmark is a part of the Chart Industries group - a global engineering business designing, producing and delivering industrial products. Howden's core focus is to improve our client’s processes by providing quality solutions. We have over a century of experience in doing so and from our office in Helsingør, Denmark we design and deliver mainly for the wastewater and marine segments.

As our new Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for conducting a solid and smooth execution as well as securing commercial success for your own portfolio of projects for new build applications.

In close collaboration with the customer, Sales, Engineering and R&D, you will play an important part in technical affirmation and determination in the pre-order phase. During the build and delivery phase, you will engage with suppliers, production and operational departments in our facilities in Germany and China. If it is part of the scope, you will also plan the installation and commissioning. All in all, you own the project from signature to end of warranty. In this role, you should expect to travel 20-30 days annually, covering on-site visits, client meetings, factory visits & overseeing equipment tests.

• Managing projects for new build applications.
• Act as the link and focal point between customer and the Howden organization.
• Participation in selection of scope of supply for new projects, including estimates and evaluation of commercial aspects.
• Participation in interdisciplinary projects for current and new products.
• Prepare technical documentation and quality assurance.

• Preferably an Engineering background with 5+ years of proven experience within industrial project management.
• Strong presence with colleagues and clients/agents.
• Hands-on experience working cross-organizational & across borders is helpful.
• Self-motivated with ownership of agreed tasks.
• Holistic mindset combining focus on commercial, contractual and financial areas.
• Ability to evaluate and assess risks associated with the above points.
• Strong communication skills for technical and commercial topics.
• High level of technical English skills, verbal and in writing.
• Additional language skills, preferably German, are considered an advantage.
