Jabra China is currently looking for a Team Lead, AMS Sustainability Engineer to join Global Repair Solutions in Xiamen, China.

The primary responsibility for this position is to lead the team of AMS Sustainability Engineers to perform repairability assessments for new products following GN's sustainability policy and related design for repair direction. Responsibilities include managing the team's tasks and activities involving NPDs and launching repairs in repair centers, monitoring time and workload for the team related to participation in new products development and launch of new repairs, ensuring processes are documented and followed, and driving optimization towards excellence.

You will get your hands on the following exciting tasks:

  1. Ensure day-to-day operations of AMS Sustainability Engineers are conducted according to R&R settings.
  2. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to secure repairability input is provided at the right phase and in the right format, and that actions are managed timely during the new products development process.
  3. Lead repair NPI projects to ensure every new repair is proceeding within schedule and with needed documents and equipment/tool ready.
  4. Ensure the implementation of processes and flows and that needed documentation takes place within the team.
  5. Coordinate projects and tasks involvement within the team to contribute to company strategy and projects.
  6. Ensure completion of all activities related to setting up new repairs in the repair centers and proper handover to relevant functions for daily repair operations conducted in due time.
  7. Manage the performance of the AMS Sustainability Engineers and ensure workload balance and working efficiency through optimal allocation of tasks.
  8. Optimize and develop the area and processes concerning AMS Sustainability Engineers.

  1. Master's or Bachelor's degree with professional technical knowledge, preferably within engineering.
  2. 3 years or more working experience in the electronic industry.
  3. Familiar with NPI processes and key points.
  4. Professional product knowledge with sufficient technical background.
  5. Strong IT knowledge including good capabilities in Microsoft Office.
  6. Skills with video test and PCBA test knowledge.
  7. Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  8. Strong organizational and communication skills.
  9. Experience in project management.
  10. Management skills, leading teams to excellent performance.
  11. Good working attitude and sense of responsibility.
  12. Fast learner and quick in mastering new areas and complexities.
  13. Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  14. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
