Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled R&D Software Process Owner to join our team. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for designing, documenting, and implementing software development processes tailored to the specific needs and goals of our R&D department.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implement Software Development Processes: Develop and maintain software development processes that meet the specific needs and goals of our R&D department, considering factors such as project complexity, resource availability, and technology stack.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that software development processes comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, such as ISO, FDA, or industry-specific requirements, to maintain quality and regulatory compliance.
- Lead Process Improvement Initiatives: Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in the software development process, and lead initiatives to optimize workflows, enhance productivity, and reduce time-to-market.
- Collaborate with R&D Teams: Collaborate closely with R&D teams, software developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to align software development processes with project goals, facilitate effective communication, and foster a culture of collaboration and transparency.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience: 10 years of experience in software development process management, software engineering, or a related role, with a strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
- Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving skills
