We are seeking a visionary and experienced Cyber Security and GDPR Manager to lead our cybersecurity initiatives and protect our digital assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust information security strategy aligned with Veo's goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the design and implementation of security policies, procedures, and controls to protect digital assets, sensitive information, and customer access to the Veo platform.
  • Oversee the management of security operations, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with product development teams, marketing, sales, IT, finance, and operations to integrate security measures into all aspects of Veo's operations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards such as NIST, GDPR legislation, and penetration programs.
  • Provide strategic guidance, fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters, including communication with senior leadership, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to address emerging risks proactively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in information security, with a proven track record in a senior leadership role.
  • Professional certifications are highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of security frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
