At our Poznań office, you will become part of Group Sourcing & Procurement, specifically the Indirect procurement team, currently comprising 6 highly skilled colleagues.

The indirect area in ROCKWOOL covers spend areas such as Digital, Facility, Travel, Marketing, Waste handling, Industrial Cleaning, Development Projects, Material Handling Equipment, and Professional Services.

The Indirect spend is approx. 250 mEUR per year globally.

What you will be doing

You will be assigned a specific area of responsibility within a team where we support each other across different areas to ensure our stakeholders receive optimal support. As the Subject Matter Expert for your area, stakeholders will seek your advice and guidance.

You will join a successful team managing indirect spend. Over the past two years, we have made significant strides in developing our organization, responsibility areas, and work methods, resulting in a threefold increase in company contributions compared to previous levels. We are now developing a strategy to further advance the maturity of the Indirect area as a Procurement category.

Some of your main tasks will be:

  • Together with our stakeholders (internal customers), you will identify activities where we can optimize and secure supply within the Indirect area.
  • You will cooperate with all our entities across the Group.
  • You will bring best practice solutions into our business.
  • You will run procurement projects (tenders, auctions, etc.) in close cooperation with our dedicated sourcing team and our local operational teams.
  • You will be responsible for managing the area by ensuring a strategy and tactical plan that utilizes the potentials in the market.
  • Your starting responsibility area will be Temp Labor (in our production), Telekom, Travel, and Company Cars.

It is expected that after an introduction period, you will take over other interesting areas as your responsibility area.

You are a strong team player and also possess the ability to work independently.

  • procurement experience including strategy, contracting, negotiation, and tenders globally.
  • a proficient user knowledge of IT systems.
  • fluency in English is a must.
  • the ability to work within challenging or changing timelines and deadlines.
  • strong motivation to find opportunities and create results in a fast-changing business environment while communicating the strategy and tactical steps needed to create the best possible results for our company.
