Dalux is growing and growing fast - and we want you to take part in our continued success We are looking for a person with a background in software development, who is passionate about helping people succeed and grow.
As our new Development Manager, you will, together with other leaders in Dalux Development, shape and develop our organization, processes, and the product.
Development Management at DaluxAs Development Manager, you will be a central contributor to building our R&D organization and have responsibility for several of our development teams - up to 20 team members in total.
The role has three essential parts:
- People Management: Ensure your developers are motivated, engaged, and able to grow professionally. All Development Managers are also a central part of our cross-department recruitment effort.
- Continuous Improvement: Working within the framework of Dalux' best practices, you are encouraged and expected to bring your ideas for improving the development process and have a positive impact on your teams' way of working.
- Change Management: All our Leaders contribute to developing Dalux' organization by driving projects and initiatives – e.g. improve our developer infrastructure, architecture, tooling, or innovation process.
These responsibilities are key as we aim to grow our organization by roughly 40% over the next year and wish to bolster effectiveness and developer satisfaction, while fostering a great engineering culture at Dalux.
Our development department applies the latest technology and best practices in the industry in a sensible and pragmatic manner. Our software stack includes C#/.NET, MSSQL, ElasticSearch, DirectX 11 (backend), .NET MAUI, Vulcan, Angular, WebGL (Mobile and front-end). Our CI/CD uses Jenkins, Git (GitLab), and our hosting solution is AWS.
About youWe imagine you have a background in software development, and you have previous experience with taking on responsibility – this being technical or people leadership. We also believe you have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar, but do not expect intimate knowledge with all of our tech stack.
Furthermore, you are fluent in Agile Software Development, and have a passion for helping people grow and the servant leadership skills to match.

Who is Dalux?Founded in 2005, Dalux is a Danish software company built on a foundation of geometric processing and 3D computer graphics. As a Contech company our products are aimed at making the construction industry smarter and more efficient.
The construction industry is the second largest industry in the world, and it is still amongst the least digitalized industries. Huge amounts of time, materials and knowledge are wasted on modern construction sites. It is estimated that only 30% of all time spent onsite is used executing the actual construction tasks driving the process. At Dalux we are changing this.
Our software facilitates the entire lifecycle of a building. We have a complete end-to-end solution used from the initial idea of the building, the handling of technical drawings (BIM models), the construction and to the subsequent operation and maintenance of the building. All the way - until the inevitable demolition - we reduce waste of time, materials, and cost.
To continue building the best products on the market, we focus intensely on technology and product development. This means we are at the forefront using cloud solutions, drones, computer vision and AI to change the way the construction industry works.
For the last 5 years, we have grown by 60% annually. Dalux employs more than 400 people distributed across 35 offices in 22 countries. All our product development is located in our offices in Østerbro, Copenhagen.
