Århus, Århus Kommune, Denmark Landfolk Full time
Landfolk is looking for a flexible and dedicated Italian/French-speaking student assistant to join our Guest & Host Care team

We are looking for a student assistant to join our Guest & Host Care department. With a service-minded, engaged, and proactive approach, you will help ensure that Landfolk's hosts and guests have an outstanding experience from start to finish when booking holiday homes through our platform.

Who is Landfolk?

Landfolk is one of Denmark's most ambitious startups. But we are more than that. We want to drive a movement that takes people out of the cities—into nature. Together. We believe that this makes us better as human beings. That's why we carefully select and handpick the most wonderful holiday homes in several markets, where aesthetics, quality, scenic locations, and personality are key. At the same time, we want to create a community for our hosts, making it easy, fun, and inspiring to be a holiday homeowner.

Landfolk was founded in 2021 by seven co-founders. Today, the team consists of over 60 people. We have ambitious goals and lots of exciting projects ahead, so we are looking forward to growing even more.

What can you expect to do?

As part of our Guest & Host Care team, your primary tasks will include support-related responsibilities for bookings made through our platform, as well as helping to develop and improve our service center for hosts, guests, and partners.

You will communicate primarily via chat, email, and phone, assisting customers in both Danish and English. Additionally, fluency in either Italian or French (both written and spoken) is a mandatory requirement, as we want to ensure the same high level of support in these markets. German is a plus but not a requirement.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Understands our brand and the values we emphasize
  • Is dedicated to providing top-tier customer service and has a knack for making our hosts and guests feel valued
  • Knows that personal and genuine communication—both written and spoken—makes a difference
  • Is great at putting themselves in the shoes of our hosts and guests, resolving inquiries in a positive and solution-oriented manner
  • Naturally listens and acknowledges others in conversations
  • Is persistent, systematic, and thrives in a dynamic work environment
  • Works independently and finds solutions to any challenges that may arise
  • Is engaged and contributes to a positive work atmosphere
  • Can gather and communicate user insights, acting as the voice of our users to help our marketing team, designers, and developers improve our platform
  • Speaks and writes fluently in either Italian or French
  • Wants flexible working hours, working 15–20 hours per week, spread across all seven days, with the potential for additional hours during holiday periods.

Why should you choose us?

Joining Landfolk means becoming an important part of a fast-growing startup with high ambitions, where everyone works hard but also has fun. We believe in spending our time on meaningful work while maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal life.

At Landfolk, you can expect:

  • A highly flexible workplace that values a great work environment, with excellent conditions at our beautifully designed office—featuring a delicious lunch scheme, social events, great coffee, snacks, and plenty of holiday home trips
  • A fun, supportive, and collaborative team culture. The Guest & Host Care team plays a key role in the company, and while expectations are high, your contributions will be truly valued
  • The flexibility to work from home or from our office in Aarhus

You will be part of a team where collaboration and communication are key to our success. We are looking for a team player who is the perfect match for our fantastic team, where quality and exceptional service are top priorities. The position is part-time and adapted to fit your studies, with working hours of 15–20 hours per week, including weekends, and the possibility of extra hours during holidays.

Since we are looking to hire as soon as possible, we will conduct interviews on an ongoing basis. However, we encourage you to submit your application by April 11, 2025.
