Are you an experienced legal professional seeking a meaningful opportunity in a dynamic and inspiring environment? Liquid Wind, a leader in green electrofuel development, is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel to join its growing Legal Team.

The location for this position is in Stockholm, Copenhagen, or Gothenburg. There will be some travel within the role. The company language is English, and you understand and speak a Scandinavian language. You will report to the Head of Legal based in Stockholm, Sweden.

About the role

As a Senior Legal Counsel, your primary role will be to support our Project Teams with legal advice on project development while handling a wide range of corporate and operational legal matters. You will work closely with the Head of Legal and a team of experienced lawyers to ensure compliance, manage risks, and enable efficient decision-making processes.

  • Assist on risk management and scheduling
  • Support with general legal project administration and ad-hoc tasks
  • Provide legal support to internal project teams to ensure alignment with project plans
  • Assist on project divestments
About you

You are a motivated and experienced legal professional with a solid background, preferably with experience from working on projects. You have worked as an in-house lawyer or at a reputable law firm, building strong skills in handling legal matters. Experience in the energy sector is a big plus, and you are confident in providing clear and practical advice to support your team. You are a person that gets things done.

  • Have an LLM degree or equivalent legal qualification
  • Have a minimum of 7 years of professional legal experience
  • Have proven expertise in negotiation, business risk assessment, and compliance management
  • Have a strong understanding of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks
  • Have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Are proactive with a solution-oriented approach
  • Are fluent in Swedish and English
