Our product
Dealflow is a next-generation invoicing platform for online entrepreneurs, and the only of its kind to offer free global transfers, instant payouts and workflow automation in one place.

This role in short: Be the right hand man to the CEO, grow into a leader over time and shape the future of finance for entrepreneurs and SMBs everywhere. At the same time, we are working to make sure you never have to work again after Dealflow.

Tasks

What we're looking for in general

  • Spiritual maturity: A truly good person with a strong character, equally strong values and an ability to build trusting relationships in a high-stress environment. This is a must for us as we value spiritual capitalism .

Responsibilities

Financial operations

  • Manual payouts to customers.
  • Manual collection and marking of deposits.
  • Manual debt collection, reminders, etc.
  • Stay in close contact with our fractional CFO.
  • Build FX strategy.
  • Ad hoc customer support.

Analytics & excel modelling

  • Help the founders stay on top of all important numbers with automated analytics.
  • Financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting with good visualisations.
  • Cooperate with founders on fundraising strategy, decks etc.

Credit & treasury management

  • Establish and maintain our credit line.
  • Maintain our treasury with rigor and obsession over detail.
  • Stay on top of all relevant topics.

Compliance

  • Stay on top of all relevant topics.
  • Handle pending compliance requests.
  • Work hand in hand with our compliance expert.
  • Ad hoc customer support.
Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as an operator in a ScaleUp. Bonus points for:

  • Exposure to FinTech (+++).
  • Exposure to fundraising.
  • Exposure to international payments.
  • Exposure to credit and SMB lending.
  • Exposure to accounting.

3+ years of experience in the following data modelling tools:

  • Python, SQL, Excel.
  • Bonus points for exposure to tools like Metabase, ETL-tools similar to Weld, etc.
  • Bonus exposure to data pipelines.

3+ years of relevant experience from top tier IB, management consulting or a high growth startup environment.

Relevant, tier 1 Bachelor / Master program required. We make an individual assessment for each case on what relevant tier 1 means. We do also make exceptions here in rare cases.

We care about dialogue. In many cases, we might learn more about you from the questions you ask us, than we do from the questions we ask you.

Our steps:

  1. Initial interview with Seb (30 - 45 minutes). Let's talk about what makes you, you. And your accomplishments so far.
  2. Second interview with Sid . Run us through your technical abilities. We're a product first company so this is important.
  3. Final interview with Seb (1h).
  4. Reference call with 3 of your (former) colleagues. At the same time you'll get to talk to one of our investors and one of our advisors. There you can ask any question you like.
  5. We make an offer.
