-- MISSION --

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting for a specific business unit within their pharmaceutical operations. This includes managing the monthly closing process, budget forecasting, variance analysis, and project accounting. You will also play a key role in driving process improvements, implementing key performance indicators, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements specific to the pharmaceutical industry.

-- RESPONSIBILITIES --

  1. Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  2. Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term strategic plans.
  3. Conduct in-depth variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  4. Oversee project accounting, ensuring proper tracking of costs and revenues.
  5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
  6. Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, including those specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
  7. Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  9. Act as a business partner to provide financial guidance and support to operational leaders.
  10. Lead a team of 5.

-- REQUIREMENTS --

  1. Holds a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  2. Possesses a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, and controlling within a multinational environment.
  3. Demonstrates a strong understanding of financial principles, including project accounting and IFRS.
  4. Is proficient in Excel and has experience with ERP and business intelligence tools.
  5. Is fluent in written and spoken English.
