Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark The HubDanske Bank Full time

Are you passionate about ESG and ensuring compliance in a dynamic, tech-focused environment? At Shape, soon to assume our new brand name Framna, you'll spearhead our ESG strategy, partnering with all parts of our organization to integrate ethics and sustainability into our mission of becoming the leading digital product agency worldwide. If you're excited by the prospect of aligning environmental, social, and governance principles with business objectives in a collaborative, team-oriented setting, then Framna might be your next inspiring workplace

BECOME PART OF THE TEAM

At Framna, we work based on one simple but ambitious principle: to make the world's greatest digital products for the best brands on the planet. We currently work with partners such as OK, Apple and Norlys in Denmark, and Swish, PostNord, SJ, SEB in Sweden, among many others. We build highly useful, beautiful-looking mobile and web apps that make life easier for millions of users in the real world.

This is an exciting time to be joining Framna; we're embarking on an ambitious international expansion plan and the ESG Manager has the opportunity to be an integral part of that, helping to shape the future of Framna.

Based in our office in Copenhagen, you will be part of Framna's group functions supporting and collaborating with all parts of the organization, worldwide, to ensure we keep up with the latest legislation and position ourselves at the forefront of ESG compliance. You will be working closely with our Group General Counsel and reporting to our Group Chief Financial Officer.

Your day-to-day will be hugely varied involving everything from defining and executing our ESG strategy, to ensuring we stay ahead with compliance programs, delivering training, and navigating key legislation like GDPR, CSRD, and the EU AI Act. You'll be at the forefront of shaping our ESG efforts and driving change in the tech sector.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As our first ESG Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving and implementing our ESG strategy across the Group. Your ability to balance commercial and strategic goals with compliance and risk factors will be essential.

More specifically you will be:

  • Developing and implementing the Group's ESG strategy.
  • Supporting compliance with GDPR, CSRD, EU AI Act, and other key legislation.
  • Implementing and maintaining Group-wide compliance programs and internal control frameworks.
  • Reporting ESG KPIs to external stakeholders, including investors and lenders.
  • Providing compliance support and advice to the business to help accomplish corporate goals, strategies, and priorities.
  • Assisting in the development of compliance processes and standards for new business areas.
  • Delivering staff training on ESG and compliance matters.
  • Fostering a strong ESG and compliance culture throughout the Group.
WHO YOU ARE

Are you ready to make this role your own? We believe you might feel at home with us if you have:

  • A passion for ESG and sustainability. You're all about making a positive impact and championing environmental and social governance.
  • Relevant Experience. 5+ years of work-life experience, perhaps in compliance and ESG, however, we are open-minded to all kinds of backgrounds.
  • Legislation Expertise. The thought of taking a piece of complex legislation, analysing it and implementing it smoothly into our organization gets you excited.
  • Project Management Skills: You're great at keeping projects on track and moving forward.
  • Business-Oriented Mindset: You understand how ESG ties into our business and can make smart, strategic decisions.
  • A collaborative spirit: You realize your work cannot be done without collaborating with others.
  • Communication skills: You can translate complex legislation into simple, actionable plans in both written and verbal forms, and you have the ability and confidence to communicate with stakeholders at every level.
  • Analytical prowess: You're good at breaking down complex concepts and making them understandable and actionable.
  • Tech Enthusiasm: You're interested in technology and have a good grasp of our products and business.
WHAT YOU GET
  • A Collaborative and Flexible Environment: Work with a talented team of professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment, where you get to explore and create your role based on your passion.
  • Professional Growth: Opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
  • Impactful Work: Play a crucial role in shaping our brand's voice and communication strategy.

ABOUT SHAPE BECOMING FRAMNA

Shape is the leading mobile app agency in Denmark and has together with the leading digital products agency in Sweden, Bonrouch, joined forces with Waterland Private Equity in 2023 with a joint ambition to create the leading digital product agency worldwide, Framna.

The name Framna is rooted in Old Norse, reflecting our Nordic heritage and meaning "to bring forward," "to produce," and "to evoke or imagine." In other words, shaping the future and what's coming next. It embodies our ambition and continuous drive to extend and expand our capabilities in the digital product space, creating innovative and forward-thinking digital products that help businesses become leaders within their categories, and that change users' lives for the better.

Today Framna consists of over 400 talented individuals working across 7 international studios. We build premium digital products for some of Europe's best-known brands; including IKEA, Apple, SEB Bank, and OK. Products we've built reach over 100 million users worldwide.

Supported by Waterland Private Equity, consistently one of the top-performing pan-EU PE funds, we're embarking on an exciting journey to become the world's leading digital product agency. We will achieve this through a combination of organic growth and by acquiring leading digital product agencies in new markets.
