As a Product Owner, you will coordinate and drive the 2-stroke PLM initiatives across the product lifecycle.

You will play an important role in:

Strategic Initiatives

1. Support the Digital Engine Lifecycle Strategy by aligning mid-to-long-term PLM ambitions with MAN ES’ overarching goals.
2. Develop and maintain a business product roadmap that reflects customer needs, market trends, and company goals.

Management of Business PLM project portfolio

1. Drive the global coordination and prioritization of the 2-stroke PLM business project portfolio.
2. Collect business pain points and digitalization initiatives, maintain a central repository and dashboard, coordinate the pre-analysis until proof of concept or project launch.
3. Drive the PLM project scoping phase and lead together with Architecture and Services a portfolio of PLM proof of concept (PoC) projects.

Collaboration and Internal customer engagement

1. Serve as the primary ‘point-of-contact’ for PLM activities within engineering and business, represent their needs in front of supporting functions like IT and architecture & services, and ensure effective communication between all stakeholders.
2. Ensure cross-functional collaboration and visibility of the PLM initiatives across business.

Lessons learned and Optimization

1. Collect feedback from business and identify areas for improvement for future PLM solutions development.
2. Map existing ways of working and propose improved workflows and processes.
3. Leverage external PLM network to bring best industry practices into MAN ES.

We imagine that you have:

1. A deep understanding of PLM systems, preferably ARAS, with a proven track record in managing PLM solutions.
2. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in PLM and project management within an international company.
3. Proven experience as a Product Owner, with a deep understanding of PLM concepts, processes, and industry best practices.
4. A blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and strong leadership skills to drive product innovation and ensure alignment with business goals.
5. A demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools is preferred.
