Responsibilities
- Process ownership & management:
- Ownership of some of the key 2-stroke engine lifecycle high-level processes (such as engineering change management, Design specification order, etc.)
- Responsible for mapping, overseeing, analyzing, and improving existing end-to-end engine lifecycle processes that span multiple departments, ensuring efficiency and alignment with customer needs. Communicate effectively changes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with various departments in engineering and R&D to gather requirements and feedback on processes and sub-processes changes. Collaborate with PMO team to implement process improvement solutions and required documentation.
- Project Leadership: Lead data and process improvement projects across 2-stroke organization, providing facilitation, analysis, and process mapping.
- Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze and create reports with process performance metrics.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, changes, and improvements.
- Support & best practices: Provide support to team members on process-related best practices.
We imagine that you have:
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in developing and improving product development processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- An extensive understanding of process management and improvement methodologies.
- Experience as a process consultant is a plus.
- Experience with engineering Change Management processes.
- Experience with agile framework and methodologies.
- Effective communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

You will join the Lifecycle Processes and Digital Applications department within the functional area of Engine Lifecycle Management. We are part of a unified Engineering Two-Stroke organization with the clear ambition to reflect our role as the crankshaft of the MAN ES Engine lifecycle, responsible for the overall end-to-end processes covering the full engine lifecycle.
Alongside our colleagues within the functional area, we ensure production process validation and quality in the supply chain, and safe and compliant market introduction of marine products through an efficient approval process.
We collaborate with a wide range of departments within Engineering, R&D, and our after-sales organization PrimeServ.
